Every patent is a story: a problem someone couldn’t stop thinking about, years of work, and a document that explains it in a language almost nobody speaks. We started PatentFilm because we kept watching brilliant inventors struggle to show people what they’d made.
PatentFilm is made by ipCapital Group, the intellectual-property strategy firm John Cronin founded in 1998. Our team members are named inventors on more than 3,000 patents.
Our studio pairs AI production tools with the judgment of people who actually write patents. The software drafts; the people check. Every film is grounded in your patent’s own words and drawings, so what your family, customers or investors see is true to what you invented.
